The Funny Farm provided unexpected laughs and a unique dining experience right as we stepped into the door for lunch. What a fun and hilarious way to each lunch! My son and I stopped by on a whim while craving some burgers. Upon ordering, our waitress went straight into dialing the Funny in Funny Farm up to 100. We had no idea this was the theme of the restaurant and quickly caught on. The experience for the kids was awesome, and my son and I had a great time. Also, seeing the kitchen work, communicate, the staff and chefs were professional to deliver quality food. 5 stars all the way. My burger was cooked to perfection with medium rare protein style burger. So juicy, light smokeyness, and flavorful. The bathrooms are hilarious as well. The restaurant decor is one of a kind. The theme is quirky but with a professional chef dining experience. Must visit for the themed experience and quality food.

Funny Farm is a very fitting name for this restaurant because the decor inside is very funny! I had a hard time choosing from the mini because they had a lot to choose from. I ended up going with the Mac Daddy and Brussel Sprouts . Both dishes were packed with lots of flavor but the best part was the very friendly service. Very helpful with the menu and patient when deciding. Just an all around great atmosphere.Plenty of parking as well

...and all this time, i feel brand new about this place! Its a sleeper joint looking from the outside but when you walk in...full bar! Lol. But look around and see a fun decorated eatery thats definitely gonna entertain you. The staff is friendly and inviting. Their menu is kraccin...as u read each menu item you cant help but get that nom nom feeling....i mean look at their website at pics and look what we ordered and posted. Their food sounz and looks amazing. My wife and i came in for a late lunch, ordered a couple plates and shared a mushroom burger...and each got a cocktail. All was well presented and yummy. These 3 items were enough for both of us to share AND take home to go Key notes....this place got a happy hour ...their dining room is sorta small ...they serve all day brunch ...their menu is not cheap ...parking can get scarce ...this restaurant is in the evergreen/yerba buena area Overall..im givining this place a hard 3.5 stars and a soft 4 stars. If you havent eaten here well, then you need to get on that asap

We went here for the first time in a family gathering. Love the food and the service. Server Ellie is very friendly and quirky (combo. Is hard to find). We ordered pancakes (plan and the Oreo kind), veggie omelette, chicken gravy plate. Veggie omelette is stuffed with mushroom, spinach, bell peppers. The omelette comes with tater tots. It comes with toast on the side. The pancake is huge is portion and comes with abundant butter and maple syrup. Ellie gave us bunch of bubble wraps to play with while waiting for the rest of the family to come. Very interesting!! Also Ellie mentioned someone took one her pens that she love, if someone reading this is one of those people, please have a decency to have the pen back (I hate that too when someone takes my pen and doesn't give back)!! Overall the ambiance is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will go back.

Very sweet staff, but heads up it's one of those rude service gimmicks when you dine in, LOL. I learned the hard way. I did a pick up order and the owner straight up told me he wasn't working and off the clock and wouldn't help me, so in my head, I'm like "sheesh give me my staff tip back", and my facial expression clearly portrayed my feelings were hurt so he quickly apologized so hard to me and things definitely cooled over as I waited for my food to be ready. This place is not for the weak! I guess they moved from the stevens creek location to this part of sj, and their poutine was delicious! I got a reeto, but didn't get to eat it because how stuffed I was, but would most likely be coming back in the future to dine in. Very clean and cute decor, the owner was telling me about their happy hour, karaoke set ups and will surely be coming back to dine in a d experience it to the max!!

An American restaurant located in the Evergreen neighborhood. The decors in the restaurant were very colorful and it almost felt like walking into a birthday party. It was super popular during Sunday lunch and we had to wait for 20-30 min to get seated. The food service was quick after we were seated though. They specialize in burgers but also have a wide variety of other choices such as Egg Benedicts and Omelettes. We ordered the Farmburger and the Almost Classic Egg Benedict. The burger was huge, with juicy beef, pickles, lettuce and their special sauce. The Almost Classic egg benedict was very unique - instead of English muffins, they used hash browns as the base of the egg benedicts, topped with hams and hollandaise sauce. The restaurant had plenty of seats indoor and outdoor, as well as a bar inside. However, they seemed to be understaffed and all the waitresses were running around "crazy". Regardless, I think it's a descent place for some tasty and creative American food.

Love poutine! We ordered the short rib poutine and it tasted delicious. :-) The poutine had gravy, onion, beef, and cheese. All of the flavors came together really well! However, I wish there were more toppings as you can see from the photo it's lacking a bit for the beef short ribs. Overall it was a good experience 8/10!

I went to the Funny Farm earlier this week with a friend, and we had a great time. Elle was our server, and we had the best "kind of crappy" service. She was attentive and funny, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious. I got the beef short rib poutine, and they were better than some poutine I've had in Canada. My friend got the beet salad and truffle fries and she would recommend those. We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I think it's a place to eat and hang out. I would describe the place as funny, sarcastic, and a little abrasive, but the staff care kind of a place. Would definitely recommend. Food recommended Beef short rib poutine The beet goes on salad Every day we trufflin' fries Food 5/5. Service 5/5. Atmosphere 5/5

We went here for the first time, and our server Ellie was SUPER amazing server and unique since first time a server asked our names and very attentive to our orders. Most of the staff were all excellent. Love their food (Angus beef patty melt, the barnyard burger and cowboy burger) and my daughter ordered 2 desserts chocolate lava cake and peanut butter blast off...yummy. We will come back for the breakfast for sure. The restaurant is clean and with good music that will entice you to eat and finish your food. Keep it up guys.
